Cosy and nostalgic
There’s something about starting my business at the beginning of September that feels beautifully nostalgic.
When I was younger, this time of year carried that familiar “back to school” feeling. Fresh notebooks, new routines, the evenings drawing in, and that cosy shift as the nights get darker. I’ve always loved it.
Early September still holds a special kind of magic for me. The air changes, everything feels more intentional, and the world quietly prepares for the darker, cosier months ahead. It’s the season where I feel most grounded, most creative, and most connected to the work I want to bring into the world.
And today has captured that feeling perfectly: sitting with my laptop and a cup of tea, rain tapping softly against the window, everything calm and steady as I work. It’s the kind of quiet moment that reminds me why this timing feels so right.
Launching Starlit People now carries all that childhood excitement mixed with the autumn energy I still follow today. A new chapter, a new rhythm, and the start of something meaningful.
Here’s to new beginnings, seasonal magic, and building something I’m truly proud of as the nights draw in.
