Training and Qualifications
My professional training forms the structure of my work, but the real depth comes from experience. Eight years of hands on HR and Health & Safety advising and management, shaped by real people and real workplaces. The learning I’ve gained through practice is what defines me: grounded, human, practical knowledge that can’t be taught in a classroom. This page shares the training that supports that craft and helps me bring a steadier, brighter approach to every client.
Affiliated Member of IOSH I am an Affiliated Member of IOSH and currently awaiting my upgrade to TechIOSH, supported by my NEBOSH qualification and eight years of hands on Health & Safety advising and management.
NEBOSH National General Certificate — Jarrold Training I completed my NEBOSH National General Certificate through Jarrold Training, strengthening the practical safety work I was already doing day to day.
IOSH Managing Safely — Jarrold Training I also completed IOSH Managing Safely at Jarrold Training, adding structure and accredited methodology to the real world safety management I was already responsible for.
CIPD Level 5 (Part‑Completed) I began studying CIPD Level 5 earlier in my career, but due to health and life circumstances I wasn’t able to continue. While the qualification is valuable, it isn’t what makes someone a strong HR practitioner, and it wouldn’t make me any better at what I do now than the real life experience I’ve gained. My HR expertise has been shaped far more by eight years of hands on advising, managing, supporting people and solving real workplace challenges than by any classroom‑based learning.

These courses deepen the human side of my work, which has always been central to how I practice.
Continuous Learning & Legislation Research
I continuously research legislation, case law and regulatory updates to ensure my advice is accurate, current and fully compliant. Staying up to date is a core part of my practice, and it strengthens the real‑world experience I bring to every client.
